Though Bert and Ernie are no doubt wonderful, this is more of a retroactive comment. Apple and Ancho are painfully adorable. I don't know if I'd be able to get anything done cohabiting with creatures who so aggressively push the cute envelope. They must be stopped. It's also good to read that week one went swimmingly and life, in general, continues to be good. Have a great fall!
Julia: Good to hear from you. Apple and Ancho are great, and they are a nice distration. Both have quite an appetite for destruction. Apple likes to climb up wall hangings as if she were a furry gecko. The result is many of our wall hangings have been pulled down. Ancho likes to walk on my head and lick my ears when I'm sleeping. This is endearing, but only to a point.
Amy: Ni Hao. Glad you enjoyed the Ernie and Bert video. I've watched it a few dozen times and it still cracks me up. And welcome to the blogosphere -- I've added you to my reader and my blogroll. Have fun in China!
I've come back to this link so many times this term. Usually on Wednesday afternoons, but today's rain and 4 o'clock darkness were cleared by the badassness of Bert and Ernie.
