It's nice to see someone else spending time on semi-frivolous tasks, when we all think that we should be spending more time on activities that generate paychecks.
It's great to hear from you. I'm in the midst of a one-term sabbatical, and I've spent the last few weeks in Davis. I walked by our old house last week. It's still there there -- looks pretty much the same as I remembered it. Davis, both the town and the university, have grown quite a bit. But it still feels like Davis.
Enjoyed reading about your kayaking exploits. Doreen and I have kayaked some in the Saguenay region of Quebec. It's quite spectacular.

Have fun!
